Precision External Cylindrical/Centerless Grinding
For the external cylindrical mating surfaces of guide pillars, guide sleeves, ejector pins, etc., high-precision centerless grinding and CNC external cylindrical grinding machines are used for machining. It can consistently achieve an external diameter tolerance of h5 grade, roundness ≤0.5μm, and surface roughness Ra0.1 or less, ensuring that parts maintain extremely low friction and long-term sliding fit accuracy during high-speed reciprocating motion.
Slow Wire EDM (Precision Contour Machining)
Used for machining non-standard contours in standard parts such as irregularly shaped punches, cutting blades, and irregularly shaped positioning blocks. Using Sodick slow wire EDM machines, a contour accuracy of ±0.002mm and an internal sharp angle of R0.05mm are achieved. The surface alteration layer of the cut surface is very thin, which can effectively extend the life of stamped parts.
Vacuum Heat Treatment and Cryogenic Treatment
Standard parts made of materials such as GCr15 and SKD11 undergo vacuum quenching, tempering, and cryogenic treatment, achieving a hardness of 58–64 HRC and reducing deformation by 60% compared to traditional quenching. Following this treatment, precision grinding completely eliminates residual austenite, ensuring batch-to-batch dimensional stability.
