Coordinate Measuring

Zeiss CMM captures hundreds of 3D data points using precision probes, verifying geometric tolerances such as contour, position, and angle against 3D CAD drawings. This ensures that complex mold cores, cavities, and multi-cavity inserts meet design intent down to the micrometer level. The entire process is digitally recorded, producing a traceable GD&T report.

2D Image Measurement

2D image measurement uses high-resolution imaging to quickly and non-contactly capture 2D features such as radius, hole diameter, slot width, and angle of precision inserts, punches, and ejector pins. Without physical contact, it is particularly suitable for thin-walled, fragile parts, micro-connector components, and soft materials. Data is directly exported as a full-size report.

Height Gauge Measurement

Danqing height gauges accurately measure vertical dimensions such as mold plate step difference, cavity depth, core height, and parting line clearance. Electric probes and programmed measurement eliminate human error, achieving sub-micrometer repeatability. This ensures the precise vertical relationship of stacked mold plates, multi-level inserts, and stripper plate assemblies, preventing burrs and ensuring smooth mold opening and closing.

Tool Microscopy Measurement

A tool microscope provides high-magnification inspection of microscopic features invisible to the naked eye: wear and micro-chipping of micro-punch edges, thread angles of micro-cores, burrs and micro-cracks in small parts. Equipped with a precision XY stage and angle measurement calipers, it can also accurately contour the geometry of discharge electrodes.

Projector Measurement

A projector projects the contour of mold parts at 20X-50X magnification onto a glass screen, allowing direct comparison with theoretical contour films or CAD drawings. Fast and reliable, suitable for verifying the contours of irregularly shaped punches, the geometry and tooth profiles of forming tools. Provides immediate visual feedback for first-piece and batch sampling inspections.

Visual Inspection

The final visual inspection before shipment is irreplaceable. Under high-intensity lighting and magnification, inspectors check each part's surface for scratches, dents, rust spots, burrs, and poor polishing. For critical appearance and functional surfaces, cross-verification with sealed samples and surface specifications is performed. Manual verification ensures zero-defect shipment, forming a complete surface integrity inspection together with dimensional data.
